Lamar Odom was a passenger in a car last week that struck another vehicle and killed a 15-year old boy in New York.
The tragic incident took place on Thursday, as Mr. Khloe Kardashian hired a service to drive him around while in town for his cousin’s funeral. Odom was seated in the back when his driver hit a motorcycle, which caromed into a teenage pedestrian.
The boy suffered severe head injuries and was rushed into emergency surgery. But his family confirms to TMZ that he died the following day.
A source close to Lamar says the NBA star is “devastated” by the development. Our thoughts go out to the victim’s family.
Last month David Duchovny and Tea Leoni announced they were separating yet again, but as we learn in Hollywood — we shouldn’t count our divorces until they’re filed. The pair were spotted driving together in Malibu on Sunday afternoon. Are the couple on the verge of a reconciliation or did David simply need a lift to the nearest strip club? Who knows with these two.
This isn’t the first time this celeb couple have called it quits. In Aug. 2008, Duchovny checked into a rehab facility to treat his sex addiction. Then, after several months of being apart, both parties announced they were officially separated. The couple eventually got back together up until this most recent split. Both Duchovny and Leoni share two children: Madelaine, 12, and Kyd, 9. Let’s hope they get their relationship figured out once and for all because this whole back and forth process could be emotionally damaging to their kids. Even in the Hollywood couples world this is getting borderline ridiculous.
Rebecca Black planned to release the music video for her newest song, My Moment, tonight around 8 PM EST on her YouTube channel, but it appears the song has leaked online about three hours ahead of schedule (you can watch it below). In it we see exactly what we were told we’d see, which was Rebecca telling all the haters to leave her alone because the Friday video actually made her a success, and that she doesn’t have any time to pay attention to them anymore because she’s too busy living the luxurious life of having people put makeup on her face and blowing bubbles on a vacant street corner. It looks like she’s pretty pleased with herself, this Rebecca Black, which I guess is fine. And after all, who wouldn’t enjoy putting on a red dress and arriving to a theater and being attacked by paparazzi, all of whom you’ve actually become pretty friendly with because they’re all relatives of the video’s director and best boy?
Robert Ross is suing Shaquille O’Neal for allegedly masterminding a plot to kidnap him over a sex tape Ross supposedly possessed that depicted the former NBA star and a mistress. It’s a complicated case and you can read more about it HERE.
Now, in new court documents obtained by TMZ, Ross includes even more damning accusations against Shaq: he says O’Neal hired him to murder multiple people, including a gang member, a record producer, and a woman Shaq knocked up.
Ross is a former gang member and acquaintance of O’Neal’s, who had falling out with the athlete over a record deal. The lawsuit reads:
“For many years O’Neal requested and directed [Ross] to perform many personal favors and directed him to perform various tasks including, but not limited to: ordering [Ross] to kill a member of the Downtown Gangster Crips who had disrespected O’Neal in front of his wife Shaunie.”
According to Ross, O’Neal also issued “an order to kill a woman whom [he]had impregnated and paid for her abortion” and “an order to kill a renown record producer, as well as “an order to break an NBA player’s shooting arm.”
A lawyer for Shaq, who was hired this week as an analyst by TNT, has replied to these charges:
“The outlandish claims by Robert Ross in his civil complaint are pure fiction. Shaquille O’Neal befriended Mr. Ross in an attempt to help turn his life around. Sadly, Mr. Ross abused that friendship again and again.
“Shaquille’s commitment to law enforcement is well-known and documented. He will not dignify these defamanatory allegations with a response.”
In what will likely be the first of many records set by Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, the film has knocked The Twilight Saga out of a number-one perch.
The final adventure for Daniel Radcliffe and company $43.5 million at midnight screenings Friday morning, demolishing the $30 million mark set by The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.
arry cleared $90 overall yesterday, blowing by the $72 million record by The Twilight Saga: New Moon. Look for it to gross over $180 million before the weekend is over, which would move it past The Dark Knight and prove once and for all:
Movie goers prefer wizards to vampires and mayhem-causing superheroes.
Move over Britney, J. Lo, Justin Bieber and a slew of other stars: Taylor Swift is coming out with her first fragrance.
“Wearing perfume is such a unique way to create memories,” the singer said of “Wonderstrucl.” Like songs, a scent can take you back and allow you to relive a moment in time.”
The scent was chosen by Swift. It combines fruits, such as raspberry and apple blossom, with notes of golden amber and sandalwood.
“I wrote the lyric, ‘I’m wonderstruck, blushing all the way home,’ for the song ‘Enchanted’ about the first time you meet someone,” Taylor said. “A fragrance can help shape someone’s first impression and memory of you. It’s exciting to think that Wonderstruck will play a role in creating some of those memories.”
The perfume will be available in October.
